How to find us

We are fairly close to the centre of Oxford; crossing over Magdalen Bridge and going around the Plain, head up Cowley Road, we are the second street on the left (between Cowley Road and St Clements).

BY BUS: You can catch a number of buses from the centre of Oxford, and from outside the rail station, both from the station forecourt and Park End St. Any bus marked Cowley/Blackbird Leys will take you along Cowley Road, ask for the first stop in Cowley Road at the corner of Tyndale Rd, just after The Plain. We are at the 'dead end' of Tyndale Road. Other routes proceed up St Clements and are marked Marston/Headington, ask for the first stop in St. Clements and on alighting, look for the alleyway opposite St Clements Post Office, you may have to walk back a few yards; the alley way leads through to Tyndale Road (10 yards on right) and Alma Place ( further along on the left). Turn right into Tyndale Road, the building further along on your right as you get into Tyndale Road-dead end bit, is the Christadelphian Hall.

'Park and Ride' buses run directly between Botley Road car park (West) and Thornhill car park (East), and proceed along St Clements.

BY TRAIN: The British rail station is a few minutes walk away from the City Centre, and buses may go direct from the station to Cowley Road, or Iffley Road nearby.

BY CAR: There is no official parking in our street, but there are two nearby car parks. The nearest is the public car park in St Clements for short stay parking, 60p for 2 hours, or try the Pay and Display car park up Cowley Road at Tescos, £1.00 for 4 hours. Most roads nearby are Residents parking only, though there are a few 2 hour slots to be found. Traffic wardens are very strict in this area.

PARK AND RIDE: The most practical one is Thornhill Park and Ride outside Headington, about 2 miles away for those coming in an easterly direction. Buses are very regular. Coming from the west use the Botley Park and Ride which might stop in St Clements near the workshop, or get off in town centre and get a Cowley Road or St Clements bus. If coming from South or North take Park and Ride bus into centre of Oxford then a second bus to Cowley Road/St Clements.

BY BIKE: if you use one please use a very good lock, as bike thefts are all too common in Oxford.

FROM LONDON: The Oxford Tube and the 190 City Link from Victoria, Marble Arch and Notting Hill stop behind OPC on St Clements. Buses run every 15 - 20 minutes in the daytime.

OTHER FACILITIES: We can make basic tea and coffee and herb tea; there are sandwich bars, pubs and cafes in the area for food. We have a WC!

ACCESS: We regret that the facilities are not fully suitable for wheel chair users, but as we are on ground floor level, wheel chair users may come in to see facilities. The church next door has disabled toilet for which we have a key. Otherwise we can provide an outreach programme, please ask for details.
